Hear and Say is a non-profit organisation teaching deaf children to hear, listen and speak. It is one of the world’s leading organisations for paediatric Auditory-Verbal and Implantable Technologies (including cochlear implants).
In 2013, Hear and Say set out to raise $12 million to build a new home for their services. As part of the Project Possibility team, which included fundraisers, designers, the Hear and Say leadership team and Board, I wrote the project’s case for support, which set out the vision and need for the new headquarters.
Following successful collaboration with the Queensland Government, corporate partners and philanthropic groups, Hear and Say opened the doors to its new centre in 2015.
